The African American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) of Greater Milwaukee is a non-for-profit, 501 (C)3 tax exempt organization whose diverse membership and financial supporters include government agencies, small and large corporations, associations professionals, and small African American Businesses. |
|
The AACC was incorporated in the state of Wisconsin on May 13th, 1993. Since its inception, the AACC has facilitated business opportunities for our members, including hosting various open forums with elected officials and other key leaders of the metropolitan political and business communities. Furthermore, the AACC has coordinated private meetings and presentations designed to add value to represented parties and secure contract and business opportunities for our members, particularly members from the African American business community. Since its inception, the AACC has consistently and diligently champion the development and financial success of Milwaukee’s African American business sector.
We wish to thank Guaranty Bank, our booklet sponsor, for their unparalleled support of the Chamber and business development over the years. We also thank the business community at large who has supported us in publishing our 2005 Visitors Support and Vendors List – “Gateway to Business – Networking for the Future” Directory. The Directory shows the spirit of Milwaukee, and we thank the city of Milwaukee Departments for sharing photos and information. Now is the time for the ethnic business members to join forces as sharing partners that will move our business community forward.
Sincerely,
Dester Martin
Chairman, Executive Committee
