Big Fight on March 13th Next Year
Last November, there was a Filipino guy fighting a Puerto Rican man in a ring. It was a real fight–not the ones where you will see one attacking and the other defending. The match resulted in a winner, and of course the one who felt sad in the corner of the ring is Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao earned a technical win against the so-called tenacious Puerto Rican boxer–Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, said he kept telling his boxer not to fight this beast during the match, thanks to Pacquiao’s stubbornness.
Meanwhile, two months earlier, a boxer from inheritance, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. defeated a Mexican animal, Juan Manuel Márquez in Las Vegas. The boxers showed a great game with their power and wit in fighting each other. It was all about survival. They both survived until the 12th round ended. Mayweather, holding six boxing championship titles in five different classes, put smile on his face. That time, he was already eager to fight the aforementioned Filipino, somebody who is now holding seven boxing championship titles.
March 13th next year will see the match between two beasts that are currently unbeatable: the fast, courageous, and smart Pac-Man versus the Pretty Boy Mayweather. It is going to be a big fight and we hardly know who will win. One thing certain is whoever wins, he will become a legend in boxing world.
